Well another year has come and gone and I want to try to make the New Year excuse free. Business was not as good because of the fiscal cliff, baloney. I didn’t sell as many Arduino LCD’s because Massimo wouldn’t let me use the Arduino name, baloney. Since the beginning of time adversity has brought out the best in the character of men (and women) who ignore the excuses and find the silver linings. So everyone in your family can’t have an iPad so they will have to spend more time with real human interaction, boo hoo. The truth is we never have control over our environment (political, business, whatever), what makes the difference is how we react to, stand up to and find the rainbows in the storm. That means not making excuses but putting our heads down and getting to work. So good bye 2012. Hello 2013 and

Please update to the latest filesystem (November 24) on the EarthMake.com download page . If you don’t want to download the latest you can change your \user\macros\startup.ezm file to set the arduino programmer (usb bridge) baud rate to 38400. It is also a good idea to change the backup file at arduino\macros\startup.ezm since you will use this if you ever mess up your original startup .

Well thanks to some awesome and support of all the EarthLCD employees The Launch of Ar…..LCD was a success. The first ever Arduino with a integrated Color Touchscreen LCD (and a GPU!). Thousands of people saw our demo. 15 beta units were donated to industry writers, hackerspace members and Arduino enthusiasts. We look forward to seeing their demos and posting them here.

* Due to a mis-communication with the Arduino team the Arduino + ezLCD product is being renamed from ArduinoLCD to ArLCD.
